Summer Reading Lists

Summer is the best time to build readers, and build on skills learned this past year. Our lists are made up of a variety of reading; picture books, chapter books, non-fiction and program readers. Some books are part of a series. Advanced readers enjoy non-fiction books as well, and many intructional books make for good summer reading, both for projects and knowledge. We built our Reading Lists for Kids LEAVING the grade listed.


Kindergartners having been given the tools - they're ready to start building vocabulary and exploring the worlds that books hold. This list includes picture books, program readers and basic step readers for kids that are ready to fly. Our selection:
